The Mas in Provence
Mas Grasse Provence:
Our beautifully restored 200-year-old stone-built Mas AKA as a farmhouse.
It is a classic bit of Provence on the Riviera, situated a few minutes from Grasse,
The perfume capital of France, whilst also only 20 minutes from the beaches of Cannes and the Mediterranean.
It offers 5 bedrooms and 3/4 bathrooms and sleeps up to 10 guests.
There is newly installed reversible air-conditioning in all of the bedrooms & the sitting room, so it is cool in the summer and warm in the winter.
There is a wonderful heated stone swimming pool, a boules court, table tennis and terraces for outside dining, sunbathing, and reading, and a Chappell piano.

Bedrooms :
There are 5 air-conditioned bedrooms. Consisting of 4 doubles and one with 2 single beds.
The Master Bedroom is en-suite, whilst the others share 2 bathrooms. There is a 4th bathroom with a shower and loo in a chill-out studio on the ground floor which can also be used for showering after enjoying the pool
The garden :
Offers many colorful and beautiful plants and flowers, from the vibrant bougainvillea, providing shade over the dining table Jasmine & lavender which attracts many butterflies, including the rare Swallow Tail
The pool :
The heated stone pool is always popular to keep cool in the summer months. There are sun loungers by the pool for sunbathing and seating for reading, along with a little thatched hut for chilling out known as Zansi-Bar…
Housekeeping :
The villa will is, of course, cleaned before your arrival however the cleaner person will come midweek to tidy up some.

As well as the perfume shops and factories of Grasse, there are many local vineyards and
Olive oil presses nearby to visit.
Perfume Factories and Shops :
From Fragonard to Molinard through to the newer perfume makers, there are amazing factories producing perfume as well as shops with everything from tablecloths to dresses and cushions to buy.
Market Tour :
There are many local towns and villages, each with their own local produce market day, and Saturdays are in Grasse !
Leisure Activities :
There are many local activities from some of the best golf courses on the Riviera to adventures for the kids, all detailed in the handbook at the villa. The scents and noises of the surrounding countryside will enhance any walk nearby. The smell of lavender, honeysuckle, and the fig trees mixed with jasmine accompanies the sound of the crickets in the summer.
Wildlife :
The Mas is in an amazing natural valley where chemicals are avoided and wildflowers therefore naturally flourish. Because of this, there is a huge diversity of butterflies, bees, crickets, birds, frogs, and even ducks on the little canal that runs right behind us and there is the quiet sound of the river below and its waterfall.
