An elegant escape for you and your trusty companion into the Bordelais heartland.

Located just minutes away from the breath-taking Mediaeval village of Saint-Emilion, in a local winery and B&B, amongst the renowned Bordeaux vineyards.

 This 47.5 square meter “Chambre Sauvignon” sits on the ground floor of the house, and has its own private entrance by way of a large sliding door, accessible from the garden. The French windows allow a you to relish a collar-full of the Bordelais sunshine, but you can also lower the black shutters over them and let the tranquil shade wash over you.

The room is furnished with two bespoke oak single beds, each upholstered with Twin-XL Tuft & Needle foam mattresses, and finished with delightfully soft Matouk linens. These can be merged, upon request, into a King-sized bed. The room boasts a hearth, no longer of any practical use, but certainly giving the space a delightful, welcoming character. The en-suite bathroom is equipped with a zellige tiled walk-in shower, a toilet, two sinks, a Panasonic hairdryer, Matouk towels and bathrobes, and Aesop toiletries.

Your host will welcome you with a glass of champagne on your arrival, and serve you a beautiful breakfast of local produce and pastries in the morning. The room is always furnished with fresh flowers, and sheets and towels are changed every third day. If you need help with planning your activities during your stay, your host will happily assist you. You can also request and enjoy a private tour of the winery, and a wine tasting. Complimentary parking and electric vehicle charging are provided. 

The Clos Saint-Emilion is just under an hour away from Bordeaux and the Bordeaux-Mérignac International Airport. The TGV connection to Paris from Bordeaux is 3 hours, too, making this charming haven perfectly accessible.

The price of one night’s stay is 300€.
